PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a configuration of a drive device for an electric vehicle by reducing the number of components thereof.SOLUTION: Internal teeth 42 of a rotor shaft 24 composing a motor for driving 12 mesh with external teeth 45 of a gear member 44. As a result, the gear member 44 rotates under action of the motor for driving 12. A first tooth part 48 is formed in the gear member 44, and a second tooth part 56 is formed on a side wall of a large diameter part 100 of an outer member 54 composing a constant velocity joint 16. The first tooth part 48 meshes with a third tooth part 58 of a first gear part 62 in a two-stage helical gear 52, and the second tooth part 56 meshes with a fourth tooth part 60 of a second gear part 64 in the two-stage helical gear 52. The diameter of the large diameter part 100 of the outer member 54 is set larger than the second gear part 64. |
