PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand application of active water.SOLUTION: An active water generation mechanism 32 has a water reception vessel 55 for receiving water from a water supply mechanism 31, a first electrode 63 disposed inside the water reception vessel 55 and a second electrode 59 disposed in the air, and converts the water inside the water reception vessel 55 into active water containing active oxygen species by generating electric discharge between the second electrode 59 and a water surface of the water reception vessel 55 when a voltage is applied between the first electrode 63 and the second electrode 59. A mist generation mechanism 33 is supplied with the active water from the active water generation mechanism 32 and generates sterilization mist by atomizing the active water.
