PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device configured to reduce warm-up time and first-print time, while preventing the temperature at the end part of a paper passing region of a fixing belt from being lower than that in a center part during start-up of the device, without excessively increasing the temperature of the non-paper-passing region of the fixing belt, and to provide an image forming device.SOLUTION: A fixing device includes a facing member 50 which is arranged in a position between heating means 25A, 25B of a fixing belt 21 and facing a non-paper-passing region of the fixing belt 21 and heated by the heating means 25A, 25B so that the non-paper-passing region of the fixing belt 21 may not directly heated by the heating means 25A, 25B. The fixing device is configured to select a state where heat of the facing member 50 heated by the heating means 25A, 25B is transmitted or a state where the heat is not transmitted. |
