PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly extract a photo-cutting line from an obtained captured image irrespective of the shape of a groove or a positional relationship between the groove and an optical sensor, to properly detect a position and shape of the groove from the extracted photo-cutting line.SOLUTION: A method of measuring position and shape of a welding groove part S includes: irradiating the groove part S to be welded with slit light; imaging slit light reflected on a surface of the groove part S; image-processing a captured image of the slit light to extract a photo-cutting line; and measuring a position and shape of the groove part S from the obtained photo-cutting line. The captured image of the slit light is subjected to noise removal step, expansion step, line thinning processing, end-point extraction step, and unnecessary-line removal step, to extract the photo-cutting line. |
