PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an automatic control device for rotating circular hydrofoil building berths 2, each having a giant vertical hydrofoil with a length of several hundreds meters, at half speed thereof in the same direction according to entire rotation in an apparatus that generates power by annularly arranging and rotating a large number of the hydrofoil building berths using an ocean current, tide and river flow.SOLUTION: A large number of control blades 17 are arranged in outer peripheries of hydrofoil building berths 2 as shown in the figure. In the example of the figure, the control blades 17 positioned to the right of each of the hydrofoil building berths 2 are not restrained from rotating and flows with low resistance because the head side of the blades are disposed to a direction of the flow. When the control blades approach a lower area, the control blades rotate leftward until being restrained by a water pressure difference in front and behind. The control blades are made to rotate and fixed at a stop position in a range of a radial direction at maximum. Owing to a change of the difference of water pressure received by right and left control blades, a rotational speed of the hydrofoil building berth is adjusted. Positions to fix the control blades that are adjusted by sensing a deviation of the hydrofoil building berth to a normal rotational position at positions where rotation of the control blades are not restrained on the right side of the hydrofoil building berth, thereby controlling a rotational speed. |
