The present invention relates to a regenerative oxyfuel combustion system and a combustion method using the system. More particularly, the regenerative oxyfuel combustion system comprises: a combustion chamber having a combustion nozzle having an oxygen spraying unit and a fuel spraying unit on one side and the other side respectively; and a heat storage chamber having a heat storage unit for preheating oxygen and a heat storage unit for preheating fuel connected to the combustion nozzle, for providing exhaust gas generated in the combustion chamber during a heat storage mode for the heat storage units for preheating fuel and oxygen, providing oxygen for the heat storage unit for preheating oxygen during a provision mode to preheat oxygen and provide oxygen for the oxygen spraying unit, providing fuel for the heat storage unit for preheating fuel to preheat fuel and provide the same for the fuel spraying unit of the combustion chamber.
