WHITLOCKITE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

Provided are whitlockite and a method for manufacturing the same. The method for manufacturing the whitlockite comprises the steps of: forming a cation aqueous solution by adding cation supply materials including calcium ion supply materials and cations (X) except calcium ion to water; and aging by adding phosphoric acid supply materials to the cation aqueous solution. 10-50 mol% of the cations (X) in the cation aqueous solution can be included based on total cations (Ca+X). The phosphoric acid supply material is added for mole ratio of anion to cation (anion/cation=P/(Ca+X)) to be 0.6 or higher. High purity whitlockite having enhanced crystalline can be mass produced by a simple process of the method for manufacturing whitlockite.
