摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a positive prevention of collision of items hit during driving against an engine and a more positive prevention of high-temperature state of the engine within an engine room to be attained simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: Engine-associated structure of vehicle body lower segment comprises an engine room 16 opened toward the lower part of a vehicle body 2 for storing an engine 17 and an under cover 28 for covering the lower end opening of the engine room 16. The under cover 28 is formed with a plurality of running wind feeding ports 35 in a forward or rearward direction of a vehicle body 2. The under cover 28 is formed, as seen from a side elevational view of the vehicle body 2, in such a way that longitudinal plates 33 and lateral plates 34 are cooperatively arranged in sequence as they approach to a rear side of the vehicle body so as to make a downward inclined stepwise. Each of the longitudinal plates 33 is formed with feeding ports 35, respectively.
