A device for converting kinetic energy into electrical energy which has a coil and an oscillating body with a first and a second oscillating mass. The first and second oscillating masses can move relative to one another between a first position, in which engagement sections of the first and second oscillating masses are engaged, and a second position, in which other engagement sections of the first and second oscillating masses are engaged. The oscillating body has a magnet and can be moved relative to the coil on a movement path between two reversal points, in order to induce a current in the coil. By means of the oscillating body, a magnetic flux through the coil is predefined, said flux having a first direction when the two oscillating masses are in the first position, and an opposing second direction when the two oscillating masses are in the second position. The device is configured in such a way that a reversal of the direction of movement of the oscillating body and a change in position of the two oscillating masses from the first position to the second position, or vice versa, take place at the reversal points. |
