<p>The surface of synthetic polyamide textiles is rendered soil-resistant by treating above 80 degrees C with a polymer composition having at least 10% wt. free carboxyl groups calculated as acrylic acid e.g. a polymerizable ethylene compound having free carboxyl groups, e.g. acrylic acid, and a polymerizable ethylenic compond having no free carboxyl groups e.g. styrene.</p> |
