The present invention is to provide a door opening device capable of saving installation space by reducing the size of a driving unit. To resolve the task, the door opening device (24) includes: a driving unit (27) which includes a motor (37); an accommodation member (an upper case (59) and a lower case (60)) which accommodates the driving unit; a rotation member (36) which is rotated by the rotation of the motor; and a connection member (29) which converts the rotation of the rotation member to a linear movement. The gap between the first surface (94) of the accommodation member and the second surface (95) facing the first surface is smaller than the outer size of the motor. A motor accommodation unit (38) which covers the motor protruding from the first surface is included. The rotation member protrudes from the first surface outward. The protruding length of the motor accommodation unit from the first surface is equal to or smaller than the rotation member. |
