Distribution of liquid over a rectangular - surface

Distribution of a liquid, particularly an effluent of low mechanical impurity content, over a rectangular surface, e.g. a filter, by distributing it uniformly in a first direction and thereafter distributing it in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. Liquid falls from distributor pipe into weired channel, and then on to rotating drum with paddles above filter.
