<p>Hair is impregnated with a solution or suspension of a fluorine-contng. compound of formula Rf-X-R where Rf is a 5-18C alkyl, in which at least 50% of the C atoms are subst. by F atoms, X is an ester, amide or sulphonic acid group and R includes alkyl or alkylene radicals, a mineral acid, carboxyalkyl, carboxyalkylene, and vinyl radicals. The impregnated hair is then dried. The compounds are used to curl and remove curls from hair.</p> |
