PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a Pachinko game machine having two kinds of starting holes for variably displaying special symbols when a game ball enters, wherein a jackpot disadvantageous to a player may be generated because no random numbers on a preferential side are stored in most cases just after termination of the first jackpot though a jackpot generated in the starting hole on the preferential side is set more advantageous to the player than a jackpot generated in the starting hole on a non-preferential side, and as a result, special symbols on the non-preferential side are variably displayed. SOLUTION: When storage of regular symbols generated based on passage of a game ball through a gate 17 is present, first special symbols are not variably displayed even if storage is present in the first starting hole. Accordingly, generation of a jackpot based on the first special symbols can be prevented by making a game gall pass through the gate 17 when a jackpot game is generated.
