A technical challenge to be achieved by the present invention is a system and a method for providing a postal service by using a virtual address. The postal service providing system and the postal service providing method provided by the present invention are able to provide convenience and fun at the same time by various expressions by enabling a user to write a virtual address instead of a real address. As a means for solving the technical challenge, the postal service providing system of the present invention includes: a database which stores a real address and a virtual address which corresponds to the real address; an interface server which receives the real address and the virtual address from a user through a network and stores the addresses in the database; and a terminal which is installed in a company which provides a postal service and displays or outputs the real address by requesting and receiving the real address which corresponds to the virtual address in the database. The present invention is able to conveniently deliver a postal matter without knowing a detailed address like a house number by using the database which stores the real address and the virtual address which corresponds to the real address and also enables a sender to use the postal service easily and interestingly by registering the virtual address about a receiver and/or the sender in various expressions.
