The present invention relates to a system and method for providing an escort service, and a computer readable recording medium therefor which can efficiently manage an escort service by tracking paths for multiple sections set by a customer. The escort service providing method comprises the following steps of: receiving escort service reservation information inputted by a customer asking for an escort service, and storing the information in a database; allocating a unique code to each escort agent, and storing the allocation information in the database; mapping escort agent selection information by the customer requesting an escort service or requested escort service selection by the escort agent or particular agent selected by automatic mapping by a service server to the reserved escort service, and storing the mapped information in the database; executing an exclusive application installed on an escort agent terminal, and logging in the application by inputting the unique code and the password of the agent through the executed exclusive application; receiving selection information on at least one command designated by the exclusive application; and transmitting a text message corresponding to the designated command to the escort service server and/or a terminal of the customer requesting an escort service according to the designated command selection.
