<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control method and system, preventing generation of any reverse power flow to a power system by the regenerative power generated during the regenerative operation of an elevator. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator control system is provided with: a converter 18 for converting the AC power obtained from an AC power source into the DC power, a capacitor 12 for smoothing the DC power of the converter 18, an inverter 11 for converting the DC power obtained by the capacitor 12 into the AC power, an AC motor 5 for driving a car 1 of the elevator by the AC power from the inverter 11, a power detection means 25 provided immediately before a main circuit breaker 19 in a building, and an operation pattern control means 26 for controlling the traveling speed or the acceleration/deceleration of the car 1. The power consumption of the entire electric facility in the building is detected by the power detection means 25, and the operation pattern control means 26 limits the traveling speed and the acceleration/deceleration of the car 1 so that the power consumption is not negative, in other words, any reverse power flow to the power system does not occur. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
