Device to ensure touch dry painted surfaces will not stick to another surface

A plastics film B has reinforced edges (A, figure 1) for permitting ease of handling and positioning and a removable positioning strip (B) suitably placed for accurate positioning, wherein, when applied to painted or coated surfaces that are touch dry, the film prevents the surfaces from sticking to each other. The positioning strip may be formed from aluminium. The film may be used on windows or doors and may be left in position for several days before removal.
