<p>Rolled ingot cooling bed installation consists of a rectangular bath and a latch chain from which are suspended pockets for supporting the ingot in a vertical position, dragging it through the bed. Specif, on lifting out, the frames are attached to another chain travelling at a faster rate, the frames being laid on it end on. The ingot is pushed out sideways and the empty frames are moved by the chain back to the loading station, comprising a lever arm for lowering the ingot in ts frame into the bath and changing it to a vertical position.</p> |
