<p>Raw liquid encircles a filter cloth supported on a helical spring mounted between a union linked to the outlet duct and a lower conical base. As the filter clogs, the cloth destends between the spring interstices and obstructs perforations in a central cylinder joined to the outlet, the pressure is relieved releasing the spring tension expanding the spring along the filter cloth surface declogging the cloth and providing an automatic self cleansing filter unit.</p> |
