<p>A container, e.g. a bag woven from synthetic fibre, has at least one wall of a permeable material which restricts, but does not prevent, the passage of a liquid and it holds a chemical which dissolves in the liquid. The permeable material may have a pore size less than 1.5 mm. The tablets can be used to chlorinate swimming bath water in which case they may contain calcium-hypochlorite, dichloro-, dibromo- or chlorobromo-dimethylhydantoin.</p> |
