The structure has a passive oxygen barrier layer (1) e.g. ethylene vinyl alcohol layer, comprising a resin that is a barrier to oxygen. Active oxygen barrier layer e.g. polyethylene layer, includes a resin that is permeable to oxygen. Oxygen absorbers are dispersed on the active oxygen barrier layer. The resin of the active oxygen barrier layer possesses permeability 50 times greater than that of the resin of the passive layer. Another passive layer is located between two passive layers, and another active layer is located between two active layers. An independent claim is also included for a packaging.
