The present invention relates to providing seismic data for a subsurface region that comprises a reflector 515. At least a portion of the data is processed to generate at least one path T1 that extends orthogonally to the reflector. Output data 510 representing the at least one path is outputted. The processing may comprise ray-tracing or applying interpolation to selected seismic data values to estimate an interpolated seismic data value for the path. It may also comprise applying sinc interpolation to selected seismic data values to estimate an interpolated seismic data value for the path. The output data may be outputted as a trace attribute which may be rendered to a display. The reflector may be rendered as a layer wherein the path extends orthogonally to the layer. |
