The present invention relates to a method for searching for a closed subscriber group (CSG) cell and camping on the CSG cell and an apparatus using the same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for user equipment (UE)'s camping on a CSG cell is provided. The method includes the steps of: acquiring a location of the UE and a location of at least one CSG cell; searching for a target CSG cell based on the location of the at least one CSG cell; and camping on the target CSG cell.
