The present invention relates to a gas cylinder for controlling a spindle. The present invention includes a spindle (130) vertically reciprocating according to the height control of a guider (120) connected to an outer container body (110); a cylinder (140) filled with gas and installed in the spindle (130); a piston member (150) vertically partitioning the inside of the cylinder (140); and a valve body (160) for controlling gas with which the cylinder (140) is filled and sealing the upper part of the cylinder (140). The present invention comprises a sleeve (170) of which the outer circumference vertically moves by a rotation control unit and the guider (120) and which encloses the spindle (130) in order for the spindle to rotate and a clutch unit (200) controlling the rotation of the spindle (130) by being fixed to the sleeve (170) when the spindle (130) rotates and moves downwards. When a user lifts up a lever, if the gas cylinder is applied to a seat plate of a chair, a clutch unit is operated. A lifting member on a left plate side is attached to a fixing member included in the sleeve of the outer container body, and the spindle supporting a left plate cannot be rotated with the sleeve of the outer container body. Therefore, the present invention allows a user to conveniently control the gas cylinder and obtains stable fixing power for operation. |
