The embodiment relates to an ultraviolet light emitting device. The ultraviolet light emitting device according to the embodiment is an ultraviolet light emitting device which emits ultraviolet light. The ultraviolet light emitting device comprises: a substrate; a first conductive semiconductor layer arranged on the substrate; a buffer layer arranged between the substrate and the first conductive semiconductor layer; a second conductive semiconductor layer arranged on the first conductive semiconductor layer; and an active layer arranged between the first and second conductive semiconductor layers. The buffer layer comprises; a first buffer layer arranged on the substrate; and a second buffer layer arranged on the first buffer layer. The concentration of aluminum included in the first buffer layer is different with the concentration of aluminum included in the second buffer layer.
