The present invention relates to a method and system for providing personalized video data. The method for providing personalized video data executed by a server connected to a broadcasting system, according to the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving specific broadcast information, acquired from a broadcast medium, from a wireless terminal of a user; confirming and extracting video data of a broadcast program matched to the received specific broadcast information; giving a unique identification code corresponding to specific information of the user in the extracted section video data, and mapping the unique identification code and the video data to generate personalized content; receiving content request information, including a unique identification code, from one or more wireless terminals; confirming video data mapped to the unique identification code included in the content request information; and providing the confirmed video data to the wireless terminal which has transmitted the content request information.
