<p>The present invention relates to an application and a service for setting and using a ringback tone in a mobile phone not using a service of a mobile phone company, a method for setting and using a ringback tone in the mobile phone using the same, and an advertising method using the method on the mobile phone. According to the present invention, a ringback tone application is installed in a mobile phone for a ringback tone to be generated through the application, and thus it is possible to set ringback tones of a caller side and a receiver side not using a service of a mobile phone company. In addition, the application and the method of the present invention enable an advertising sound source to be set as a ringback tone and charge an advertiser for the number of use of the advertising sound source, thereby effectively improving advertising efficiency.
