PURPOSE: A liquid crystal device and a manufacturing method are provided to selectively remove an electrostatic barrier layer, thereby preventing stains. CONSTITUTION: A first substrate includes a pixel electrode and a common electrode. A second substrate forms a color filter and a black matrix pattern on one side. An electrostatic barrier layer (200) is formed on the other side of the second substrate. The electrostatic barrier layer blocks external static electricity. An edge region of the electrostatic barrier layer is removed by an etching adhesion pattern (211). |
