The present invention relates to photorhabdus temperata subsp. temperata and an antimicrobial and insecticidal composition having extracts derived from the same, and more specifically to photorhabdus temperata subsp. temperata having both excellent antimicrobial activity and excellent insecticidal activity and an antimicrobial and insecticidal composition having extracts derived from the same. Photorhabdus temperata subsp. temperata ECOWIN_104 according to the present invention has superior insecticidal activity against crop pests and antibacterial activity against plant pathogens thereby effectively and environmentally friendly controlling and preventing damage caused by crop pests in various crops by using the culture medium or the extracts thereof.
