PURPOSE: A hydraulic cylinder device for measuring the accumulated operating distance of a rod is provided to measure the operating distance of a piston using a flow rate measured from an integrating flowmeter. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic cylinder device (10) for measuring the accumulated operating distance of a rod comprises a hollow cylinder (20), a rod (30), a piston (40), a rod cover (70), a head cover (80), a pipe (50), and an integrating flowmeter (60). One end of the rod is located inside of the cylinder and reciprocates in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder. The piston is coupled to the rod and moves with the rod. The rod cover is fixed to one end of the cylinder. The head cover is fixed to the other end of the cylinder and moves the piston to the rod cover. The pipe is connected to the head cover and the rod cover and is a path for transferring hydraulic media from the outside to the head cover or the rod cover. The integrating flowmeter is installed on the pipe and measures the amount of the hydraulic media flowing to the rod cover or the head cover. |
