PURPOSE: A liquid cargo transport ship is provided to protect a hull from low-temperature liquid cargo by supplying seawater to the leaking liquid cargo and heat-exchanging with the seawater. CONSTITUTION: A liquid cargo transport ship comprises a manifold (2), a spill tank (3), a seawater supply tube (5), and a discharge tube (6). The manifold is installed on the top of a storage tank (1) for liquid cargo and is connected or separated to/from a loading arm (91) using a coupler (4) to load or unload liquid cargo on/from the storage tank. The spill tank is installed under the manifold and receives the liquid cargo leaking at the manifold or/and the loading arm therein. The seawater supply tube is connected to the spill tank and supplies seawater. The discharge tube is connected to the spill tank and discharges the seawater and the liquid cargo to the outside. |
