PURPOSE: A position measuring device, a position measuring method, a coating system, and a coating method are provided to measure a position of a measurement object performing a task with respect to a hull block. CONSTITUTION: A position measuring device comprises a camera(200), a laser distance measuring device(300), a driving unit(400), and a control unit(500). The camera photographs a measurement object. The laser distance measuring device measures a distance to the measurement object photographed by the camera. The driving unit rotates with the camera and the laser distance measuring device. The control unit drives the driving unit and calculates a position of the measurement object based on the distance measured by the laser distance measuring device and a rotation angle in which the laser distance measuring device is rotated. |
