摘要 The present invention relates to a hybrid magnet engine valve actuator. Especially, the hybrid magnet engine valve actuator drives a valve bar of a non-magnet material for opening an intake and exhaust valve. The hybrid magnet engine valve actuator comprises an upper yoke installed above a lower yoke; a coil which is wrapped over the outer surface of the upper yoke to generate a variable magnet field with certain intensity and direction according to the supply direction and voltage supplied from outside; and a shorted turn which is installed between the upper yoke and the coil to reduce time for generating the variable magnet field by promoting the increase of the voltage when the voltage is applied to the coil. As the shorted turn is added between the upper yoke and the coil, the effective inductance generating at the beginning of applying the voltage to the coil is reduced so that time for opening and closing an engine valve is reduce by slowing down the speed of increasing current. The hybrid magnet engine valve actuator is capable of maximizing the speed of an engine by obtaining variable valve timing in the faster rotary speed of the engine.
