Saddle comprises a rigid support body (2) with a median longitudinal axis (L) and a molded upper surface and a padded layer (3) with a mesh cover layer (4) on top of the body. The body has a first set of through holes inside the surface and a device (5) for connecting the saddle to the cycle. The padding layer is a cushion of elastically yielding material and has a second set of holes which are partially aligned with the first set of holes for promoting the passage of air from the lower part of the body to the cover layer and to the body of the user.
