LIGHT SOURCE MODULE AND BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY HAVING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a light source module and a backlight assembly which has the light source module. The light source module includes: a light source unit, a flexible circuit board and an extruded substrate. The light source unit includes a light emitting chip. The light source unit is mounted on the flexible circuit board and the flexible circuit board includes a flexible material. The extruded substrate is compressed to the bottom surface of the flexible circuit board and is in contact with a heat radiation unit which is extended from the light emitting chip. The backlight assembly includes the light source module and a light guide plate which guides light, and the light source module is arranged to be close to the light guide plate and provides light to the light guide plate. Therefore, the present invention is capable of improving the heat radiation efficiency of the light source module and simplifying a wire structure of a corner type backlight assembly.
