A method for providing an online postcard service is provided. A method for providing an online postcard service by a user terminal comprises the steps of: specifying a postcard recipient; producing a postcard image to be sent to the postcard recipient; transmitting the postcard image to a post office server through a postcard service server to produce a customized postcard, wherein the customized postcard is produced by outputting the postcard image in a postcard form and transmitted to the postcard recipient, by the post office server; and if a reply message is registered from the postcard recipient in response to the reception of the customized postcard, displaying the notification of the replay message.
