PURPOSE: An electrophoretic display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the performance degradation of the electrophoretic display device by dually preventing moisture from permeating into an electrophoretic film. CONSTITUTION: A first sealant(5) seals a part between an electrophoretic film(22) and a protective sheet(3) and a part between a substrate(21) and the electrophoretic film. A second sealant(6) seals a part between the substrate and a circuit film(4). A protrusion member(211) of the substrate supports the second sealant. The protrusion member includes a groove(212) for the second sealant. The second sealant is placed on the groove between the protrusion member and the circuit film. |
