The present invention relates to an apparatus for sealing a heating pipe, comprising: a main body having one end coupled to the end portion of a heating pipe which is filled with a thermal medium and having a hollow hole therein so as to communicate with the heating pipe; a sealing member inserted into the hollow hole so as to seal the hollow hole in the main body; a fastening member fastened to the other end of the main body; and an elastic member inserted into the main body between the sealing member and the fastening member so as to be compressed by the fastening member fastened to the main body and having elasticity so as to apply elastic force to the sealing member in a direction which is adjacent to the heating pipe when compressed. The elastic member for supporting the sealing member for sealing the heating pipe is made of a flexible material to allow the sealing member to be pulled back from the end portion of the sealed heating pipe in a predetermined length when the thermal medium is expanded. Thus, damage to the heating pipe can be prevented by preventing the internal pressure of the heating pipe from being increased more than the limit pressure of the heating pipe due to the expansion of the heated thermal medium. |
