Disclosed is a moonpool structure on the body of a pipe laying support vessel to install a flexible pipe on the seabed. The moonpool structure includes an entrance part for taking the flexible pipe; an exit part for discharging the flexible pipe to the seabed; and a connection part for connecting the entrance part to the exit part. The exit part includes a curved wall extending towards the bottom of the body of the pipe laying support vessel at one or more curvatures. The curved wall gradually widens the exit part towards the bottom of the body of the pipe laying support vessel.
