PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for preventing falling of a unit, configured to prevent falling of a unit, such as a transfer device, while reducing the size of the device.SOLUTION: A mechanism for preventing falling of a unit prevents a unit 7 mounted on an image forming device body 100 from falling when removed from the image forming device body 100. The mechanism for preventing falling of a unit includes a guide member 30 for supporting and guiding the unit 7 in removing the unit 7 from the image forming device body 100. The guide member 30 includes a stopper provided in contact with the unit 7 to stop the unit 7 moving in a direction of separating from the image forming device body 100 at a position so as not to fall. |
