PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus of an intermediate transfer system which has improved design flexibility.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises: an image forming part 40 which forms a developer image on a photoreceptor drum 50; an intermediate transfer belt 71; a primary transfer roller 78 which primarily transfers the developer image formed on the photoreceptor drum 50 to the intermediate transfer belt 71; a secondary transfer roller 110 which has a function to secondarily transfer the developer image on the intermediate transfer belt 71 to a recording medium and a function to clean deposit adhering to the intermediate transfer belt 71; a waste toner box 130 which is arranged on the side opposite to the intermediate transfer belt 71 across a conveyance path L and contains the deposit removed from the intermediate transfer belt 71 by the secondary transfer roller 110; and an attachment section 90 to which the waste toner box 130 is detachably attached. |
