PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for determining a threshold for separating a background area from radiation image data.SOLUTION: A feature amount as a template corresponding to a representative value indicating a boundary between a subject area and a background area being an area obtained by directly imaging radiation is read, feature amounts corresponding to a plurality of pixel values are respectively calculated to an original image, and a pixel value corresponding to a feature amount to which a distance between the feature amount as the template in a feature amount space and the calculated feature amounts is the closest is selected as a threshold for separating the subject area from the background area in the original image. |
