PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for an elevator that is capable of effectively displaying valid information to users in an elevator car according to an operation condition and a utilization date and time of the elevator.SOLUTION: A display device for an elevator is disposed in an elevator car 1, and includes: an imaging device 2 for imaging a situation in the car 1; a monitor device 4 for displaying, on a monitor screen, a plurality of image information pieces composed of inside-car video information obtained by imaging processing image information captured by the imaging device 2 and of pre-set and pre-registered videos, still pictures, graphics and characters; and further an image controlling device 3 for selecting the inside-car video information and the plurality of image information pieces (containing presentation information, background image information, caution information, and information for maintenance inspection work) according to an elevator state signal outputted from an elevator controlling device 5 for controlling operation of the car 1, via a remote monitoring device 6, in order to display the selected information on the monitor device 4. |
