The present invention relates to a safety light operating device for indicating residual pressure of a compressed air tank and more specifically, to a safety light operating device for indicating residual pressure of a compressed air tank which can be used as a lantern while fire fighting by forming an LED bulb which is respectively fixed to both ends of a shoulder belt to carry the compressed air tank on the back; notifying an air charging time to a user by detecting the residual pressure of the compressed air tank using a 55 bar pressure switch which is connected to the LED bulb; enabling a firefighter to rapidly escape from a fire place by making the LED bulb flickers when the internal pressure of the compressed air tank is going down to less than 55 bar thereby indicating the residual of the compressed air tank even in a dark and noisy fire place; reducing the power consumption by shutting off the power supply when a main block switch does not require the LED bulb; using a lighting switch to control the power supply of the LED bulb which is used as a lantern according to the condition of the fire place.
