PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro channel plate device having a plurality of emission layers.SOLUTION: A micro channel plate includes: a substrate, the substrate defines a plurality of holes that extend from an upper surface of the substrate to a lower surface of the substrate. The plurality of holes includes: a resistive material on an outer surface that forms a first emission layer. A second emission layer is formed on the first emission layer. The second emission layer is selected to achieve at least one of an increase a secondary electron emission efficiency rate and a decrease in gain deterioration as a function of a time. An upper electrode is formed on the upper surface of the substrate, and a lower electrode is formed on the lower surface of the substrate. |
