PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage device which is capable of determining that liquid amount detection means is normal.SOLUTION: A rotating member 61 is rotatable around a rotation axis 61a at least in a range between a rotational position in which a float 62 is located at a first position and a rotational position in which the float is located at a second position which is vertically lower than the first position. The direction of a first moment, which is a moment around the rotation axis 61a caused by own weights of the rotating member 61, the float 62 and a liquid receiving part 63, is the direction in which the float 62 is moved from the first position to the second position. The direction of a combined moment combining a second moment which is the maximum moment around the rotation axis 61a occurring when the liquid receiving part 63 receives liquid supplied from a liquid supply port 51a and the first moment is the direction in which the float 62 is moved from the second position to the first position. |
