PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, even if a singular portion exists on a surface of a sheet, the reverse side of the surface on which the singular portion exists from being wasted.SOLUTION: A method for printing a plurality of images and maintaining a print head according to a schedule on a first surface and a second surface of a continuous sheet includes detecting a singular portion existing on the continuous sheet, and setting, if the singular portion is detected on the first surface or the second surface, the schedule to perform the printing while avoiding the singular portion on a sheet surface where the singular portion exists while setting the schedule to maintain the print head in at least a part of an area corresponding to the singular portion on a sheet surface on the reverse side of the sheet surface where the singular portion exists. |
