PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic method of a tumor including a solid tumor and a metastasis thereof, without using radiation or a standard chemotherapeutic agent.SOLUTION: A method comprises the steps of: a) providing a subject having a tumor cell; b) removing at least part of the tumor cell from the subject to make a removed cell; c) treating at least part of the removed cell ex vivo, using a stimulating agent comprising thapsigargin and/or a thapsigargin related compound in order to make a treated tumor cell; and d) introducing the treated tumor cell (or a fragment thereof) into the same subject in vivo to yield an anticancer therapeutic effect.
