PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector and a radiation imaging device, which can read an image at a high frame rate.SOLUTION: A vertical scan circuit which makes a sample-hold circuit of a pixel having a photoelectric conversion element and a column signal line arranged for each column of the pixel in a connection state by sequentially selecting the row of the pixels is allowed to select a row outside an irradiation region where a radiation ray is not radiated in a sensor. Thereafter, the sample-hold circuit is allowed to sample-hold a signal in response to the radiation ray radiated thereafter. Then, the signal which is sample-held in a pixel within the irradiation region is read while the vertical scan circuit is allowed to sequentially select the row in the irradiation region. The row outside the irradiation region is selected before the signal in response to the radiated radiation ray is sample-held. Thus, read out time is shortened and an image can be read at a high frame rate. |
